What to expect when you're our guest...
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where should I sit? Where do my kids go?
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the Welcome Center when you visit.
When Are Services?
Sunday @ 2p (12 noon beginning June 3, 2012) - Worship and the Word
Tuesday Prayer @ 7p in the Sanctuary
Wednesday @ 7p - Bible Study and Christian Education Classes
(Prayer begins 30 minutes before service on Sunday and Wednesday)
What Should I Wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. Some people come casual, some wear dress clothes. We want you to feel welcome no matter what you're wearing or how you look.
Do I Have To Pray Out Loud?
Before services begin there will be people gathered around the Altar and front area of the church to pray. Please feel welcome to join in or sit and pray quietly in the Sanctuary. During services at Chapel North, you will hear people pray out loud during prayer time, and there are people who choose to pray quietly. Please feel free to pray in the way you feel comfortable.
Do I Have To Give In The Offering?
Every service we share in giving to God. We believe that God has blessed us and we rejoice in being able to give back to HIM as an act of worship and obedience to Scripture. If you are our guest we do not expect you to give but if you feel like giving, please give as the Spirit leads you.
Where Do My Kids Go?
There are classes for all ages, from birth to teenagers. For information about where your child's class meets, just see someone at the welcome center in the foyer. We'll be happy to answer any questions and direct you to the right meeting space.
